Apple Cakes
One of the girls at the office bought these really interesting cakes... Taiwanese people are really into pretty desserts... They have a frozen apple in the middle, with either jam or whipped cream of some kind. It's kind of like a cake and a fruity dessert at the same time. Not too sweet, which I liked. All the same I probably shouldn't have had a slice of each. Feeling kind of full now.

Swamped
Working from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The rest of the time spent with my parents. Lack of head-space and personal time = driving me kind of crazy. Oh and there is so much to learn. But this is just the transitional phase - hopefully I will be able to work out my own schedule, and also move out.
When I feel a little bit overwhelmed I do some online window shopping. Are these things not lovely? If I see lovely things I feel good about the world and everything. If I see a lot of ugly things though, then I feel like we've wasted the world's resources in manufacturing crap and we all deserve to be destroyed by global climate change. That's very depressing. So I try to look at pictures of lovely things.
